" A Student or group of student (s) and also an entrepreneur. Both a Student and an Enterpreneur CONCURRENTLY , SIMALTANEOUSLY;
Reason for a student to become a student enterpreneur is to become THE BEST STUDENT;
Who launches, organizes and operates a business or businesses either FORMALLY, OR INFORMALLY;
Student Enterprise will Have  NO  RISKs / ZERO RISKS  associated  with the student business, including Financial and or Otherwise in order to do business;  There might be some Benefit but NO LOSS !
Student runs the business for  the LAKSHYA of BEST LEARNING;
Runs business with the purpose of making SWALP / MICRO MONEY  to emerge Self Relaince and to retrieve a part of expenditure they incurred  for studies ;
Essentially try to apply what they are learning as part of studies "

1. Becomes aware of what all is being  studied in the college / school  through the mode of creating student business so as to fulfill and  solve the social needs of society  through the medium of product or service)  by APPLICATION of what is  studied by the set of students

2. The student entrepreneur(s)  makes an attempt through the enterprisng endeavour to RETRIEVE a part of what is INCURED for academic studies

3. Total Student Enterprising is carried out 100 percent  as part and parcel of curricular learning

Due to the nature of entrepreneurs, they cannot be summarised in one defini:ve way but they all  have common traits. These are some of the most common:

• Have One Single Common Need - Need to Learn ; Need to Earn
• Student Enterprising is Academic requirement , like a exam / quiz test / lab work etc.
• Uses ones energy, time, creativity, ingenuity  and academic working constructively so as to turnout a business by the end of the studies as part of the studies
small teams of students also work together as one enterprise
Academically mandatory for the student  to practice what all one is studying
Academic program gives levy for the student to do the business along with the studies.
Capital of the student business will be zero; Knowledge capital, Effort Capital, Social Capital, Creativity Capital, Inexperience as Capital, Academic association with the college, Local faculty, library, laboratories, college allumni   are the several capitals of an student entrepreneur

-----------------------------------------

2. Ups and No Downs of being an entrepreneur

+ Pros: A student can make part of money: This will help the student to reduce the OUTGO of cash for studies to that extent. All students -  Poor and Rich all will equally benefit due to this.

- Risk: The financial risk in a student company is ZERO, because student makes NO iNVESTMENT. A student has to use ones creativity, knowledge, network, and campus faciltities as investment rather than barrowing and investing in the startup.  This method guarantee that NO LOSS can happen for a student enterpreneur.
-------------
Application : Not practice of what is learnt is the biggest criticism of higher education all across the world. Students is mandated to put to practice what one is learning.

Time: Running a  student business may demand students time. but it is worth. and It is done as part of students curriculum. For example, a MBA student running a business is simplest thing.

Learning fulfillment : Student entrepreneurs feel satisfied due to.. By them, For them and Of them..Student extremely fulfilled with knowing that they have  practiced and they are trying to know by studies, made money for themselves. and  it leads to enhancement of self esteem, self belief, self confidence etc. It also leads to Self Relaince.

Small , Slow but Sure  Rate of Return: Student  businesses do not make a massive profit.  They help the students to make TINY / MICRO money but TONS of Learning they offer !  Earning might be small, slow and tiny but sure one , which is difference of this learning.

Purpose of student enterprises is to Start and Sustain ! Idea is not to Scale, Spread, Surpass !

It is normal to see that student startups do not grow and die. Question is not how many student startups die. The relevant issue is how many students are trying and getting the experience of enterprising !

College : Due to student entrepreneurship , a lot of students in a given college get in to the habit of think like entrepreneurs. Over the years, they can become entrepreneurs.

It is so simple, more students in a college become civil servants, more of their junior batches also get in. Same way, more students in the college get into IIT then more of their junior batches also try to do.  Present problem in education system is that  when most  and all the students look for jobs, rarely junior students aspire for enterprising. Student enterprising breaks this cycle.

Academic Excellence  : Through student  entrepreneurship, there is a lot of academic excellence. Students understand why they are studying what they are studying. They will also realise which subject starts first, and then followed which other subject. It is not which subject is  more and less important.

Taking up the responsibility of application of knowledge, each and every student will be vehemently scouting for  the problems which require solutions.

For  instance, tackling a local problem by seeng up  a group/service/business that addresses that  problem.

Economic Climate: Student Entrepreneurship await outside economic climate. Rather it goes ahead, even without favorable climate. Because they dont need such a positive climate.

Control: Being in charge of how :me is spent  and other areas of work management lead to  greater autonomy and control over life.

Comradership :  – Many students in  college  starting their own  business in many groups  may feel great comradeship and martial great  support. It is a different work culture and

3. Enterpreneruship and Student Enterpreneurship .. Difference

1. Enterpreneurhsip is after / before studies.. it is full time .. SE is along with studies, and as part of studies. It is Part of Studies !
2. Purpose of enterpreneurhsip usually is Profit, Growth, Pursuit of idea, Passion etc. Purpose of student enterpreneruship is  academic excellence, studying  well , Sustaining and Supporting studies.
3. For Enteprneurship  one needs ideas, one needs capital . For SE, one need to apply what one is studying,  what one is doing in academic studies, one has to use what one is studying, one hes to integrate what one is doing in such a way that it create value.. Student enterpreneurship is not doing some thing more than and addition to academic studies.. No. it is not .. it is doing academic studies in such a way that it results in such a way that it leads to value..
4. For Enterpreneruship one will have RISK, for SE one will have NO risk .
5. For enterpreneurship one need to invest additional time, effort. For SE one will leverage what all already spent for academics, fee, assignments, friendships, labs, college location, allumni net work etc and make value out of it.

4. Myth Busting about Students, Studies, Startups!

Myth Number 1:  Study means SPENDING ; Students are JOB Seekers ! Learning Labour cant be CASIFIED ! Students only, only  do STUDYING ! Student  need is, LEARNING alone !
Are Entrepreneurs born or made?” Entrepreneurs are born, not made. It’s in their genes. They all invented something in a garage when they were 12, wear strange clothes to work and are generally unintelligible at  par:es. This is the “nerd” theory of entrepreneurship. TRUE or FALSE?

Realty Number 1 : The average entrepreneur is 35 to 45 years old, has 10 years‐plus experience in a large company, has anaverage education and IQ, and, contrary to popular myth, has a surprisingly normal psychological profile. As  a group, they look and talk like you and me—a fairly average bunch.

Myth Number 2

“Entrepreneurs  are only in business to make money?”

The entrepreneur’s overriding goal is to be amillionaire. He or she does it for the money, pure and simple. TRUE or FALSE

Reality Number 2

As we see more often, most entrepreneur’s real obsession is to pursue his or her customer/product vision. Money  surely is the  necessary fuel to do this. Investors or lenders can spot the “get‐rich‐quick” types and avoid them like the  plague. But this is the one way which more often we have seen. This does not mean that alternate and different does not exist, and it cannot be achieved.

Enterpreneurship can be used  by entrepreneurs for realizing many things, including Name, Money, Success etc. Same way enterprising can also rightly used  by the  Gen Y higher education students  for a student to BETTER LEARN. It is nothing wrong to use entrepreneurship to make billions . At the same time, and same way it is also not wrong to use the same  enterprising to achieve " Better Education to All " .

Earlier times enterprising was not used for this purpose. Now with Gen Y technology and modern times, enterprising may be better used by youthful students for Better Learning.

Myth Number 3

 “Entrepreneurs are shady characters, ready to take legal shortcuts and are generally on the prowl for suckers  to take advantage of.” TRUE or FALSE

Reality Number 3

Compared to unethical business leaders featured in the news, entrepreneurs don’t seem so greedy aner all.  In such a sorry state of affairs, the Hondas and Bransons and Waltons of the world look more and more like  saintly protectors of old‐fashioned virtue. The unhappy fact is that low ethics and illegal tactics seem preoy  well distributed throughout the popula:on.

Myth Number 4 : “Entrepreneurs are high risk takers—real dart throwers.” TRUE or FALSE

Reality Number 4

Entrepreneurs may be innova:ve, but that doesn’t make them foolish. It’s their money they’re risking. The  reality is that big company execu:ves regularly take greater risks with shareholders’ money than  entrepreneurs are willing to take with their own. As to the “risk” of leaving a secure job and star:ng out on  their own, all risk is rela:ve. Most entrepreneurs believe that the greater risk is to leave your future reward  and sa:sfac:on in the hands of a series of corporate bosses, all of whom have their own agendas to push.  Beeng on the corporate looery for the next 30 years is a risk most entrepreneurs aren’t willing to take.

Myth Number 5: "Only 1% of the population of the UK can be entrepreneurs?"

Here’s the latest one to hit the street: Too many entrepreneurs spoil the na:onal brew. Everyone can’t go off  and just “do his own thing.” Who’s going to mine the coal, produce the steel and make the cars? Every  country needs its foot soldiers too. TRUE or FALSE

Reality Number 5

No one’s sugges:ng that everyone just do his or her thing or that the whole world should work in a garage.  What is suggested is that everyone needs to become compe::ve, including the folks in giant corpora:ons.  For mavericks and foot soldiers alike, a strong dose of old‐fashioned enterprise isn’t a bad place to start. The  United Kingdom as a society being defined by its poli:cal parameters as a capitalist meritocracy encourages  free entrepreneurial spirit and encourages it to redistribute wealth between larger corpora:ons and the  people.

5.Is Business Ownership For You?

Question is not " if you are business owner or not ". The right question is why not business ownership for me ? Why not I try business ownership ?

Just because, there are no body in your family who has done business, it does not mean that you are not for business ownership . Everybody is meant for everything what they aspire for. Education enable it. Entepreneurship is one such a thing. It can as well groomed as part of the curricular education so that it is not only one educated , one is self supported educated, but also educated to become an entrepreneur ! All three things in one making .. Student Entrepreneurship.

7. AICTE STUDENT START-UP POLICY

AICTE New Delhi an apex body came outwith this policy. Every student is lead to start their startup. It is to " Experiment the Enterprising ".  All colleges including your college need to implement such a policy. Colleges have the bounded duty to help the students to launch and succeed in their startups. Academics are adjusted so as to fit to the student enterprising. If the conventional education does not fit in to this model, then they must incorporate the change.

Refer to ......

You need not work more and hard.. You work smart

Yout dont waste what all you worked out in the college studies. You systematically integrate all of it which emerges as student enterprise .

You need not get bored of education ,  dont feel dissatisfied to study rather you find what you are studying  is extremely useful and interesting. It is the enterprising that makes the study interesting.

It is usual that one spend money for education. But one can also retrieve a part of it. Why not ? What is wrong if learning is designed for it ..
